  4. INTRODUCTION
  5. From the mind of Mike Saenz, creator of Virtual Valerie¬ ╤ the world╒s first adult CD-ROM ╤ Virtual Valerie 2 is the ultimate in cyberotica  and the embodiment of every red-blooded technophile╒s deepest desires! Sophisticated 3D modeling, tantalizing animation, erotic sound effects, and a sizzling music score combine to create a mind-blowing sextravaganza  like nothing you╒ve seen before!

  7. SET UP
  8. 1) VV2 has been designed for a 13" display with 256 colors only. VV2 will run on displays larger than 13", but the game will not expand to fill the larger image area. Be sure that your display is set to 256 colors, otherwise VV2 will run very slowly.

  10. 2) Quit all other applications before running VV2. VV2 does not run well if other applications are running. 
  11.  
  12. 3) VV2 does not run well under Virtual Memory. Turn off Virtual Memory (choose Memory from Control Panels under the Apple Menu) and restart the computer.

  14. 4) For best performance, turn off File Sharing (choose Sharing Setup from Control Panels under the Apple Menu and click on the Stop button).

  16. INSTALLATION
  17. No installation is required to run Virtual Valerie 2. Just double-click on the VV2 icon to run the game.

  19. PLAYING THE GAME
  20. Playing with Valerie involves some experimentation and exploration. Petting Valerie with the Petting Hand earns points and escalates the game. Ten (10) points are earned when Valerie reaches a climax. The Crosshair Target Display indicates areas that are most sensitive to the Petting Hand. Valerie╒s genitals are primary targets while her breasts and buttocks are secondary targets. Using the mouse to click directly on Valerie's primary targets will quickly push her to the brink, but will not earn petting points or bring her to a climax.

  22. BROWSER
  23. The Browse buttons allow you to quickly navigate to other sex scenes during game play. Browse buttons are displayed in the lower left hand corner of the screen during Valerie's sex scenes.

  25. MODE
  26. During Valerie╒s sex routines, the Mode buttons can be used to jump to other routines. 
  27.  
  28. TWEAK
  29. The Tweak buttons (VAR and ALT) display variations on the selected sex routine.

  31. SPEED
  32. The Speed buttons ( + and -) temporarily alter the speed of a given sex routine.
  33.  
  34. SCORING
  35. To maximize your score:
  36. 1) visit every area of Valerie╒s domain, 
  37. 2) bring Valerie to a climax in every scenario, and 
  38. 3) do a lot of heavy petting!

  40. A perfect score is 1000 points, which can be difficult to achieve for novices. However, there are a few tips and short cuts...

  44. PETTING
  45. Keep the Petting Hand circulating from target to target, but don╒t overdo it. The hand should be rested for a few seconds at each target. When the targets flash they register a point cue. Points rack up and the action escalates when you cycle the hand from target to target.

  47. THE SCORE BUTTON
  48. During sex scenes, the Score Button is displayed in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Clicking on this button deploys the triple-shot ejaculating Tool. Valerie seems to like the resulting effect, but she won╒t reward you with points for it. Each shot decreases your Score by three (3) points. When your score is below 3 points, the Tool shoots blanks.

  50. THE CLIMAX INDICATOR
  51. During sex scenes, the Climax Indicator is displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This indicator flashes when Valerie reaches a climax. This is helpful when your sound volume is turned down or off.

  53. BJ/GARAGE
  54. The ╥MO╙ (Manual Override) button in the garage scenario gives some user control over Valerie╒s head mobility. but this activity subtracts points.

  56. CLIMAX POINTS
  57. Entry level climaxes award 10 points once and ButtBlaster Level climaxes award 100 points once.

  59. VIRTUAL VALERIE╒S BACK DOOR
  60. Figure out the secret code and you can gain immediate access to the Buttblaster Level. On this level your Climax Points will increase tenfold.

  62. You can earn your way to the Buttblaster Level by making Valerie climax in every scenario and accumulating a score of 200 points or more.

  64. THE FINALE
  65. Valerie dances during the finale. To get to the finale, you must make Valerie climax in every scenario and accumulate a score greater than 999.

  67. TROUBLESHOOTING

  69. If performance is slow:
  70. Ñ Set the display to 256 colors.
  71. Ñ Make sure no other applications are running.
  72. Ñ Turn off File Sharing.
  73. Ñ Turn off Virtual Memory.
  74. Ñ Virtual Valerie 2 has been designed to run best on a quad speed CD-ROM drive. VV2 run on slower drives, but files will load into RAM more slowly.

  76. If sound is distorted or fuzzy:
  77. Ñ Connect a set of amplified external speakers (equipped with manual volume controls) to the audio output of your computer. Then, set VV2╒s sound volume to the highest setting and adjust your volume from the manual control.

  79. If sound is choppy or broken up:
  80. Ñ Check the connection of your speakers.
  81. Ñ Make sure your computer meets the memory requirements for VV2.
  82. Ñ Make sure no other applications are running.
  83. Ñ Turn off Virtual Memory.

  85. If there is no sound:
  86. Ñ Check the connection of your speakers.
  87. Ñ Check the sound volume under Control Panels. 
  88. Ñ Make sure no other applications are running.
  89. Ñ Turn off Virtual Memory.

  91. If you see an error message regarding memory:
  92. Ñ Make sure your computer meets the memory requirements for VV2.
  93. Ñ Make sure no other applications are running.
  94. Ñ Turn off Virtual Memory.

  96. If you see an error message regarding the location of a file:
  97. Ñ Make sure no copies of VV2╒s data files are on your hard disk.
  98. Ñ Restart the computer and try again.
